As an assignment for James, my group (Sara, Nathan, Rachael, and myself) decided to combine photos in photoshop to come up with this snazzy photo. we used Nathans Nikon D200 and used one of the portrait bays. The first shot was of me, Nathan, and Sara. The secon and third shots were of Sara and Rachael. We put all the photos into photoshop and combined them to come up with this. We had a lot of fun going to Goodwill to get the outfits and doing hair and makeup. YAY!

Last weekend i went to Wilmington to visit my sister. I shot a little while I was down there. I found this alley way with a bike randomly sitting in it so i decided to shot it, focusing on the bike. This was shot with my Nikon.

I shot this for one of our assignments where we had to photograph a business person in an appropriate setting and then lay it out like an appropriate magazine. I shot this with a Calumet 4x5 camera. My exposure was f/22 @ 1/30 of a second. This necklace was borrowed from my mom from the 80's; and yes Im sure everyone can see that :) I used a piece of plexi glass with black fabric underneath to make the reflections! Yay, for sparkly stuff!

This was shot while i was on internship. One day, while we were slow at Viewpoint, I got to photograph anything I wanted to. So i found these sweet rain boots and used one of the sinars with a phase one back and came up with this!

This is part of a shot that my partner, Amber, and I are working on for our joint project. We used a fishtank with a trash bag in the bottom. The ripples and splashes were made with marbles. I used my Nikon D200 with a ferrell light and broncolors.

I shot this headshot of my friend sarah. I actually shot this with minipulse lights at my house. I used my living room wall as the background because i thought it would go nicely with her skin. I shot this with a Nikon D200 at f/16 @ 1/200 of a second!

This shot was done my second semester at RCC. Amber Joyce is my model. This was taken on the Blue Ridge Parkway at Rocky Knob, Virginia. It is a beautiful location and the sky was perfect this day. Being there made us both really feel how small we really are compared to the world. I shot this with my Pentax 645.

This is April. She is my neighbors donkey. April is only 1 and a half years old. She likes apples, clothing, long walks on the beach, and candle lit dinners!
I shot this on a Nikon D200 at an ISO of 200. It was on f/9 at 1/200 of a second!

I love the bright colors of the spools of thread, especially on the black background. The background makes them "pop" more. I shot this on a Nikon D200 at 1/80 sec. @ f/6.3. I also like the close up on the pink thread!

Stabbing a tomato

This tomato was handmade by my mom when she was in middle school. Its been in our family since. I decided to photograph it close up and use dramatic lighting. I shot this with a Nikon D200 at 1/80 of a second @ f/4.8. I also really like negative space, as you can see with this photograph!

Festive Peppers

I shot these brightly colored peppers using a Nikon D1H. Considering i didnt have a background that i really wanted in focus i shot at F/4 at 1/45 sec. I also used an ISO of 200. I love close up photography and i absolutely LOVE bright colors, so shooting these peppers were perfect for me, except for the fact that they cost $1.87 each....ughhh!!!

I took this photo using a D100. I took several shots of marbles and came up with this one. I used strobes and back lit the marbles. I also defused the light source!
