Stabbing a tomato



This tomato was handmade by my mom when she was in middle school. Its been in our family since. I decided to photograph it close up and use dramatic lighting. I shot this with a Nikon D200 at 1/80 of a second @ f/4.8. I also really like negative space, as you can see with this photograph!

I like the colors in this A LOT! I love how the red stands out so much... the black background works very well. Also, I like all the pins, since they give you an idea of what the tomato is for. Good work!
